Karim has launched and managed operations for several Biotech and rare disease products including (go to market strategies & funding), focused on the emerging markets, particularly the Middle East and North Africa region, as well as Southeast Europe and Russia. Karim is an active member of several industry associations and business councils. He is also a member of the Diplomatic Circle in Geneva and a public speaker on industry matters.

He has been honoured several times by Rotary as Paul Harris Fellow for meeting outstanding personal, professional standards and charitable works. Kamel is also a recipient of several awards recognizing successful businesses in MENA.
